Not a big update but I had nothing else to do right now. Got everything on that was needed for safety. Made a list of stuff I could not do. Called the big yellow tow truck and off it went. And now I wait.
Good time to clean out the garage. Room for a new project now
found a bunch of parts I don't need. Will see if anyone wants them up here. Otherwise they will be turned into something else, probably rebar.
I guess you weren't close enough to drive it to where you are having it inspected...? What interesting parts would you be speaking of...lol
Wanted to drive it but with a tranny that didn't work, that was a problem. We also have a cop in town that is a jerk so with no muffler, that was a concern.
As for parts, rear view mirror, parking light trims, cowl vent, clutch and brake pedal pads, gauge cluster c/w speedometer cable, Ford hood badge, window cranks, interior door handles, hood hinges, fiberglass running boards (new), 6 volt wiper motor c/w switch, window track assemblies and door latches. I think that is it. Some of it is now listed on Kijiji.

Okay, nothing I could use..lol I'd probably get away with driving mine here if just taking it to a service center..

Properly priced someone will buy that is stuff. Don't send it to the scrap yard. It won't make very much rebar.
After being gone for about 4 months I got my truck back. it is running good but to get a completed safety I need to fix the parking brake handle as it is not holding, just worn down. I am hoping to do that this weekend. I thought I would post this video. My son took it, it perfectly shows the difference between what I like and my wife likes.
Thought I would give a bit of an update. Got the truck back and super excited. Needed to fix the parking brake lever as it was not holding. Got that done, mechanic stopped by and gave me the paperwork I needed to get plates. While at the garage they did the exhaust. Used Magnaflow mufflers, hope they sound good. Needed to get the tranny fixed. I guess when I put the torque converter on somehow I did it wrong and broke the alignment pins on the pump, or something like that.. They also recommended a lock up torque converter so I said yes to that. That was pricy. They charged the AC system. Needed to put a vacuum pump on as the booster was not working good enough. They also put on a different throttle cable, claiming that mine was sticking once in a while. I did not see it but they said my brake booster was broken inside so needed to be replaced. Not sure how that happened. Any way, more money then I expected but it is ready to drive. Picked up plates and they are on. Not sure why people cover their plates when taking pictures but because others do it, I did it as well. Bring on summer.
