I have a 2015 FX4 Ultimate and last night while driving down the interstate, I noticed my engine light was on. Later, when I stopped at the store and came out I noticed my remote start would not work, although it DID work before I got on the interstate about an hour before. Now, when I attempt to remote start, the horn just honks once and it wont start. I don't know if the two problems are related or just coincidence. Has anyone had similar problem or know how to resolve it? Thanks for any input!

Have you checked the batteries in the remote?
I’m not saying this is the problem but it’s worth checking.
Also, try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 5-10 minutes.
Have you had the under hood battery checked and is it the same battery that came with your vehicle?
I dunno, that's what the salesman called it...lol... It's not the Lariat or Platinum but it's got everything available on em that year.
No such animal... unless your dealer rebadged the truck. Sorry. You should look, of it still has the stock badges, ahead of the front doors. It should say XL, XLT, LARIAT, PLATINUM, or LIMITED below the F-150 lettering.
