Now that I own two 7.3 diesels I find myself hunched over the engine quite often and thought it might be a good idea to invest in a Topside Creeper. I found the traxion 3 100 on Amazon but was wondering if you guys have found a better value somewhere else. Thanks for any input
For me personally, I had seriously considered a topside creeper, but opted out because I made a work platform out of 2x12's and storage hooks to hang off the front of the truck. Then we bought a Ranch Hand grille guard which solves two problems...

I also have the Ranch Hand Grille guard,(Ball Catcher) when laying over the engine to work on it. I found that moving blankets are my best friend. LOL.....
I ended up buying one like this but the cheaper version. Do you think that my Ranch Hand bumper will hinder my ability to use the Topside Creeper?
Like Kubota said yes it will a little. I have a full bumper with guard and it keeps the creeper about 12 inches further back than before the bumper. It still works just a further reach for items in the back of the engine bay.
My outlaw bumper has room to walk / stand so i work off it most the time unless doing a big job.
I bit the bullet and purchased a Topside Creeper before doing my overhaul last summer. One of the best purchases ever for my truck. I have a Ranch Hand with the step also, and it does push the creeper further forward than normal, but it still really helped. Especially when wrestling the new turbo/ down pipe/ up pipe/ pedestal together for the fifteenth time!
