Front end rumble

Front end rumble
Hey all, got a front end rumble in the truck in the sig. Seems to be from the passenger side, I was thinking a wheel bearing but the rumble didn't go away when I locked the hubs and engaged the transfer case. Only notice the rumble and vibration between 48-60 mph. Vibration smooths out after 60 but rumble continues. No other noticable symptoms . Anything else I can check?

Bearings in the wheel hubs are my first guess. Get the tire in the air and feel if it rolls smoothly. Also grab the tire at 9 and 3 and yank it around with extreme prejudice, see if it's loose.
I'm thinking the needle bearing are ok since engaging the 4WD didn't change the sound.

Got a chance to get the front end in the air, slight grind on the passenger side, no wobble on the wheel but oh boy did we have play on the backside of the hub. Could push the u Joint up and down a good 1/16th or so either way. Thanks for the help.

Along with the hub bearing replacement, you'll have to replace all the seals on both sides as well. Check the spindle axles for wear, they might need to be replaced if the inner bearing damaged them. If they're not to bad, you might get away with hiting them with some emory cloth. Also, for future reference, these non serviceable hub bearings can be greased as well.
