My tired HPOP was dropping to 1100psi under sustained WOT. Let’s just say the power was down...
So a few months ago I picked up this CNC Fab Stage 2 HPOP and CNC Fab HPO lines. I finally got a chance to install it today!!!!
Here’s a few pics of my dirty old 460k mile truck getting some LOVE!!
Finally time to stop just opening the box staring at this sexy HPOP!
Top end oil change?? Lol, just pumping reservoir out so all that oil doesn’t run in the valley when the pump comes out.
So dirty.
The CNC Fab HPO lines are awesome and a no-brainer upgrade.
I had a new Motorcraft IPR on the shelf, but I put it in a customer’s truck day before yesterday.... This one is a ‘good used’ IPR I had.
Might as well rebuild the fuel bowl drain valve! Sooooooo much easier with filter bowl out of the truck. $7 well spent!!
We put about 40 miles on it going to visit friends. I didn’t hook up scan tool for the hard data, but HELL YES my truck finally runs good again!!!!!!!! Hoping I can install this knockoff android head unit and torque pro tomorrow. Then I’ll have some data to report!!
Great to hear Jason! Always feels good to clean up and work on our trucks when they need it. Looking forward to the reports.
My poor truck has been treated like a rented mule forever. I make everyone else’s trucks NICE and fix what’s broken on my truck quick, fast and cheap when I have to!!
As my schedule changes, I will have more time for my junk. Things got a little carried away for the last couple of years and there has been little ‘free time’. It was time to fix that!!!
Like to here more on the numbers as well. Have to read up on the differences on there stage 1 and 2 pump. Unless there stage 1 is just a rebuilt pump?
Stage 1 is just a reman that meets minimum flow requirements.
I ‘think’ Stage 2 is a 20* swash plate and a few tweaks. It definitely moved a higher volume of oil.
About 100mi with new pump so far. You can really tell the difference now that the air is worked out. The truck is finally responsive again and FUN to drive!!
That's what I thought. Like to see your numbers and again, what injectors our in this truck? Just straight AC codes? I like your S366 set up, Glen in the early forum trucks has that turbo in his 97 with 160 ac stock nozzles. Loves them. No more EGT problems pulling his 40 fifth wheel. He use to use water injection, but know more.

Currently 175/0’s. It’s almost not possible to get EGT’s in the red.
I’ll try to get torque pro set up in my new head unit so we can look at some data logs.
Yeah he says he bought it from some unknown company and it made with all internal "aerospace" grade parts. He paid $1800 and is trying to get $500 for it so he can get an Adrenaline. I thought it was interesting.....and funny.

Oh, that’s funny!!
I do know about a new HPOP design in the works that could be a major game changer. But, I can assure you it won’t be marketed with that kind of language! Lol

I get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I hear "aerospace".
I used to make the similar internal components for aircraft pumps. .000050 round ball / .0002 od/ 4 micro finish. Some specials out of 440C stainless too. Saw the test labs used to break the pumps in also.
The shoes were a pain in the butt.
