door panel

Any tricks to removing the door panel/card (interior). Whoever worked on the truck previously did not install the driver side properly. I know with any vehicle it is held in by plastic clips that break like twigs, so are there any secrets before i start to prevent this from happening?

There are about 3-4 screws that hold the panel in. Once they are removed then lift the door panel upwards. Do NOT PULL. If you do you will break the tabs. So Lift up.

It is not like the older doors.

1) Remove the Vertical trim piece. It just pops off.

2) Pop out the Switch panel where the Power window and door lock switches are.

3) pop out the trim piece behind the door ****.

4) Remove the Screws behind the vertical and door ****.

5) lift the door panel straight up about an inch and it will come right off.

No clips to break or replace.

If you have manual windows, there's a torx screw in there. The cover on the handle comes off and swings out of the way.

I took pictures as I was removing a door panel the other day.
Maybe tomorrow I'll get a chance to get them on here.
