I just took my truck in this morning for the three open recalls , tailgate, carpet, running lights. I intentionally waited a month to get them done so all the tailgate parts would be available. Dropped it off and the service writer told me parts were not yet available in our “ Region”. I’m in southern CA. I read on here where quite a few of you had the recall completed already. Any truth to this regional shortage?
I bought my 19' right as the recall for the tailgate came out. Dealer had to hold onto the truck for about 2 weeks until the parts came in. They got 1 kit in for the tailgate only and I made sure it went to my truck.
I had just purchased a 2019 and when we went for delivery they found out they couldn’t deliver it due to the recall. They still don’t know when they’ll get parts so I made them give me an unbelievable deal on a 2020 Lariat Sport, picking it up Saturday morning. Sometimes things work out!

well sounds true then. Some dealers are getting parts and others are not. Lol. At least they didn’t hold my truck since parts are not available yet.
