I have an F350 with a Carli 2.5" lift. I currently have 295/65-20s Ridge Grapplers, which measure 35x11.5". My buddy wants to buy my wheels and tires.
Therefore, I need new tires. I have another set of wheels I will be using.
The question is: should I bump up to a 37" tire?
What are pros other than looks? How about cons?
I do have a camper so having the 4080 load capacity of the 295 is nice. The 37 drops the capacity to 3750. I am looking at the Toyo RT. My local shop has them in stock and I can get them today
Im debating the same decision. Load is not a concern to me. I only have a 2 inch level. Post up pics whatever you decide cause Id like to see 37's if you go that direction.
I'm going with 37" Toyo RT's on my stock 20". They look awesome. How do you like the Carli 2.5"? I am going with the same. Are you running without the track bar/track bar bracket?

Carli is great. I have had them on several trucks (Rams). The ride is nice, controlled, not stiff by any means. I am running just their Fox 2.0 shocks. I have done nothing to the rear. I may do the add-a-pack, but definitely not full Deavers. I can't loose any more load capacity
I have the Readylift track bar drop bracket currently. I am getting the Carli track bar when they have them back in stock.
It is your truck, but I would take a look over on Alumiduty on instagram to get an idea of how they look.
There are a lot of 6 inch lift trucks over there running 37s. 4-6 in looks about right.
You "can" fit a 37 on a 2.5 inch lifted truck. However if you are spending the coin on a carli 2.5 inch pintop lift, you must want to take it offroad. 35s/295's would be about as big you would probably want to go if you plan on tucking those tires offroad.
Just my 2 cents and you know what that is worth. LoL.

thanks!
don't have a pintop, just a commuter. Don't plan on taking it offroad anytime soon
37's look really great. Here's my take on them after 14,000 miles:
Pros:
- Look awesome
- Provides 1 extra inch of clearance
- Raises the running boards higher which provides more protection from door dings
Cons:
- Truck loses off the line punch. The larger diameter is like a taller gear and hard to turn
- Noticeable decrease in power when towing heavy especially up hills. The 6.7 is powerful but these tires will take all she's got sometimes.
- MPG hit with all the extra rolling mass
- Rubbing on control/radius arm and stabilizer bar on OEM wheels
I've had my 37's on for several days now and haven't noticed anything negative as of yet. The truck doesn't look overly stuffed to me, it looks proportional given the massive body size of the truck itself. While the truck may have suffered a tiny bit of power loss of the line, I don't drive it like a drag car either. It seems to have plenty of torque to me, I smoked the rears taking off from a stoplight trying to turn right into traffic yesterday. To me 35's basically look stock except for the tread pattern and people love the negative offset. I agree that dished wheels look nice, but I won't drive a damn roller skate either.
