Question

dust shields

Has anyone installed dust shields (the aluminum disks that mount between the hub and the wheel)? Summit offers them and so does JC whitney. I'd like to put them on all 4 wheels to keep those beautiful Limited's wheels clean- especially the fronts. Will they cause overheating or anything? I don't tow a trailer- just normal driving, mostly highway.

I have not.

How much are they?

Get some and try 'em out, then YOU can tell us!

I do not believe they contribute to overheating.

When I replaced my brakes, I spent the extra $$ and got the ceramic kind - Very Little brake dust comes from these as opposed to the cheaper kind of pads.
