fuel e85
im new in that forum about my ford f-350 xlt from 1979 which i bought from arizona view month ago.
im happy with that truck even my wife was pushing that new drive style for our family with us trucks. shes driving ford f-150 xlt from 2017 with 5.0 v8 gasoline engine, modified to lpg also. therefore i have a question im not really sure about.
at the easy fuel cap is market e85 gasoline which should be very common in usa.
in europe and special germany its e10. i know that it means the additional part of ethanol in it. is there anybody who will confirm that we can use the e10 gasoline here without any problems for engine. can i also use that fuel in my old f-350.
thanks in advance
michael
You can use any gasoline, ethanol free up to E85, in the 2017 F150 5.0.
You can use E10 in the 1979. I would use a fuel stabilizer in it if you let it sit for any length of time.
thanks for that info. wasnt sure about because there is so many different info in www.
the old truck i will service with best fuel can get because its my baby now. great truck and to be honest i thanks to my wife for that great hobby.
truck driving is a special life style, welcome
michael
yes it is rare. it a race red 5.0 v8 and the ford emblem is changed to one with the name of my wife in same letter style. took 3 hours when she noticed that. on windscreen top is „ the blonde beauty and the beast“,
she likes that truck very much, its the best car we ever owned. whit my f350 i will do trip to finnland next month. the old old one ive never seen in germany until now specially the twin colors. the frame is made with wax for longlife, upper part i will modify step by step but no painting
Post some pictures of your newer truck in this forum. I’m sure they guys would like to see an F150 in Germany.
Then check out our 1973-1979 forum too.
