'63 vs. '64 Driver Door
Hello- I'm replacing the driver door on my '63 with one from a '64 Custom Cab. I had to use the top hinge from my old door because the jamb opening wasn't large enough to clear the extra piece, with the hold-open detent (I'm assuming that's what it is), from the '64 hinge. My question is whether that extra part is there because it's a '64 or because it's a Custom Cab. I was hoping to keep that feature with the new door but wasn't interested in surgery on my jamb.
