Con rod order...

Con rod order...
I'm in the process of disassembly of my 351w and I see the connecting rods are not in the corresponding cylinders(for example he stamp on the con rod & cap says #4 and it came from #5 cylinder). I will be purchasing new pistons for the rebuild.
My question...
when assembling should I place the rod/cap in the correct cylinder or Return the rod/cap to the cylinder it was prior.
will it matter?
