So my ‘06 is showing P0470 Exhaust Pressure Sensor code, and is not making any boost. We just pulled the turbo apart to clean the vanes, reassembled everything and now this. I have read about cleaning the sensor, checking the wiring to it, etc., but I have not read about the no boost issue accompanying it. So really my question is, am I chasing just one problem, the pressure sensor code, or could I be chasing two (or more) separate issues (sensor and another causing the no boost)? Thanks in advance or any insights.

I can't be sure of what your issue is, but if all you did was clean the vanes and now you have a code for EBP, it's unlikely the sensor failed at the exact same time. You did however touch something that directly controls EBP in the VGT vanes. Perhaps it didn't go back together as you thought/planned.
EDIT: of course, the VGT vanes also affect how boost is made. If they are stuck wide open or something I imagine you'd struggle to build boost at low speed. The ECU may also be doing something to protect the engine/turbo such as not fueling normally since it can't control the VGT properly.
