2000 F150 4x4 5.4L. Will this tire size fit without rubbing up front? Truck calls for LT245/75R16.

I did goto the read first but the link for tire size doesn't work anymore.

20 mm bigger is 3/4 of an inch.. Not a problem.......... I had 265 x 70 x 17 on my 2002.... similar OD.

http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html

You
do realize that the larger tire will give you a slightly OFF speedometer ? When it reads 60 MPH, you will actually be going about 62.5 MPH with the 265 tires.

The larger tire with same DIAMETER would be the 70 series.......... 265 x 70 x 16.

I do realize that the speedometer will be off. This is a trail truck for the Gambler 500... More of a search and recovery truck. It's already a flatbed.... Just mainly wanted to know if I'll be cutting and hammering clearance. I'm throwing Federal Mud Claw tires on it.
