Intake Air recomendations please.

After fighting with the factory air filter for years, because people used to say it could not be improved by aftermarket, and after replacing the broken and warped plastic parts 3 times over the last 10 years, I am no longer interested in searching the wrecking yards for unbroken, unwarped replacement parts for the factory set up. Most threads about intake recommendations are really old and have conflicting info about intakes that are now more than 10 years old. Looking for a system to put on my 05 Duallys ( two of them) that will protect against the dust and dirt that we have on Montana gravel roads. Or, if someone has built an upgraded set up that uses the stock filter but does not break the tabs or warp where it mates to the filter I would consider that as well.

For my money, I went with the S&B system. It closely matches the OEM design and can be run with or without the dust lid for a bit more noise/flow.

There are some made by NO LIMIT fabrication, but unless you're racing down a strip or run big HP....the S&B or OEM will suffice.
