What's wrong with the eccentric you have now? You already have it...because there's only one for all FE & FT engines.

Nothing is wrong w/the eccentric or dowel pin.
Just didn't know the part #.
Called Summit and returning this set and they will send out another one (same part #).
If the new set doesn't work, then I'll go with edelbrock set I guess.
*Question, is there a gasket behind the spacer plate, or does it get one/RTV?
**Well I guess I should ask, does the spacer POP out or do I have to remove the plate, don't want to damage anything.
*What it the torque spec for the Cam spacer plate?
*What is the torque spec for the fuel Eccentric bolt?

Thanks again for all the help everyone!,

The spacer just pops out, DO NOT RTV the spacer plate or attempt to make a gasket. So what's wrong with the set that makes you want to return it?

Ok thank you very much!
The fuel eccentric dowel pin is loose/ drops in the cam gear hole and doesn't need to be pressed in.
Had to press the old dowel out of the gear.
So I figured I would have them (Summit) send out another set to see if it was the same, if so, then a different MFG I guess,
I must have missed something. Ditch the spacer, install the gear set and pin, bolt the pump cam on with its bolt and washer and that's it. Nothing is going to fall out.

The pin is "line to line fit" it's a. 312 dowel pin. The original aluminum gear was purposely left at .310. When the aluminum gear cam up to temp the hole size increased to .312 due to expansion. The pin will slide right out of those cam gears at 200 degrees ( which is operating temp of the engine. You can verify the .310 on the aluminum with a mic.

Ok good to know, but did you view post #4 video link? That to me seems to be a problem, nothing will hold it in place seems like.

Make sure your pin is seated all the way into the cam gear and then torque the bolt to 45ft lbs dry. Make sure you have the correct washer as it retains the pin. The washer covers the pin edge.

ok I see now. Duh. Thanks.
I took a pic before I took the gear off and it looks like the bolts washer will hold the dowel pin in.
So sorry guys for all the confusion.
just through me for a loop.
Here is my old set on the truck.

Yes you have the correct washer, everything will bolt up just fine. Make sure you remove the spacer and properly torque the bolt. It's also suggested but not required to use blue loctite on the bolt. There have been more than a few of us that have had the bolt back out.

OK , thank you all, and sorry for the problem. Guess I'm getting old.
I like to use Blue Loctie as well-Thanks for the reminder.

This ILL was included in the COMP CAMS INSTR SHEET -
Now the dowel pin, was it tight in the cam gear when you removed it or was it loose as you showed in the video? Does the pin fit in the cam snout snugly? That pin aligns both the cam gear and fuel pump eccentric with the cam. The larger retaining washer keeps it from moving outwards.
