I found a link a few months ago for a complete crew cab set that used existing holes in the frame to mount the nerf bars. Had the link save and phone was destroyed. Now cat find them for the life of me. They were stainless steel and 799.99 plus shipping. Truck is a 01 f350 crew cab. Thanks.
Tough county has them but there is another company out there. Ill see if i can dig them up again. I ended up building my own for a lot less so far than you can buy them. Found it https://absalutecustoms.com/shop?ols...oop-side-steps
Running boards warehouse has a few stainless ones that use existing mounting holes. Not sure if they have the same ones, but the ones I was looking at had free shipping

Would love to see your setup and how you made them. Would love to get a heavy gauge polished set that will hold up to the northern weather, that I can fab up a mount to the frame, the stuff to the rocking boards dont cut it.
I used black pipe from the hardware store for the tubing and cut a piece of 16 gauge for the platform. I used 4 or 5 inch c channel for the frame mounts and ran an angled piece of tubing from the channel to the horizontal piece of pipe. I threw some black paint on it for the time being but would like to clean it all up and have them powder coated. I might have $400 in everything including the bender from Harbor Freight but not recall. I thought i had better pics of the entire step but that one is all i have currently.
Mine were built over a length of time, and installed at different times as well. Passenger side was installed first for the at the time GF to get in easier and my side was several weeks later probably. Now i still need to finish weld the step metal all the way on and most likely either have them powder coated or a heavily textured bedliner sprayed on them. Baby steps as time is available. I tried to hurry and almost cut my thumb off when i was cutting the pipe to size so i slowed down real quick.
