No high idle when cold

No high idle when cold
I have noticed lately that my truck does not idle up in the mornings. This morning is was 28 when I started it, I let it idle for around 5 minutes but it never idled up. It has done it in the past so I am wondering if this is a side affect of a change I made with Forscan? I am guessing this is the PCM that controls this so if nothing else I can start undoing things or reload the factory settings. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this?

From the owners manual:
“In cold weather below 32°F (0°C), the engine may slowly increase to a higher idle speed if you leave it idling in park (P). As the engine warms-up, the engine sound level decreases due to the activation of PCM-controlled sound reduction features.”
Maybe the truck temp sensor thought it was a couple degrees warmer than it was and didn’t engage the high idle. You were pretty close to the temp line. Another user from Michigan said his high idle wasn’t engaging either at 30F.
