Wondering if anyone has been able to disable TPMS system completely. Can it be disabled using FORScan?
I have it set for 0psi using tuner but that only sets the system, as apposed to turning it off. So when I install wheels without sensors it sees no signal and shows fault.
tia
I do not know anyone off hand who has disabled it completely that post on FTE. I know the DRW has the TPMS module and it is disabled. I suspect you can use FORScan to disable it.
In the thread about adding pdl to an '08 I believe they said Forscan will do it.
SCT says their tuners will do it (verify model as they offer different products)
I keep meaning to find a way to disable on my '11, too

I can use the SCT to adjust and set psi to 0 but not disable the system
I used FORScan to "disable" mine on my 2015 F250. It seems to be turned off completely. No warning lights or anything. And my new wheel/tire combo does not have any sensors in them.

tell us what you did to disable the system.... which bits did you modify?
Well interesting occurrence this am.
as noted above, About two weeks ago are used my SCT tuner to turn my TPMS sensors down to zero psi And for two weeks I’ve been resetting and hitting the OK button on my steering wheel to clear the alert on my dash. Then I got this wonderful reply with all the directions and information on how to disable it using FORScan and was happy as PIS...
so this morning I went to my truck and I started it up and my low pressure warning light is no longer illuminated and I haven’t even started to do the modification identified in the posting above!! 🤔
vewwwy intwesting.....
Good afternoon all. I am going to revive this thread a little. I might be the stupid one who wants to do the opposite. I noticed the other day while fooling around in FORScan, I can enable TPMS (I have a DRW) and have the choice of 4 or 6 sensors. Has anyone successfully added 6 sensors to their DRW and enabled TPMS? I have stock wheels/tires and have no intention of changing them. I know the 17 DRW has TPMS and was wondering if I can enable TPMS on a 16 DRW.
