remote start range?

its easy, go get in your truck, turn it on, go to settings, ford pass app(on your sync 3) it will ask you to make sure Bluetooth is on on your phone and ask you to allow access. once that's done youll be able to start and lock/unlock your truck from your phone. one other thing you have to set up a ford pass account.

I received a message via Ford Pass say that from now on it would be free of charge for those who had been paying for it.
I am not included because I had not been paying. My truck came with it as a fully included option. I wonder if I will get a refund because they are giving away something that was built into the price of my truck? Not hardly.
Maybe this will help you to get set up with Ford Pass because if the truck is equipped with necessary hardware and software, you might just be very fortunate.
As others have said, starting with Ford Pass is unlimited, if all systems are functioning properly.
I agree with the others on approximately 500 feet starting with the key fob.

i believe I do not have the ford pass connect option installed I just looked at the sticker and it is not listed. I have a XLT premium package. I am pretty sure it includes a modem that turns your truck into a wifi hot spot ( with subscription of course). I really didn't care if i had it or not since i wasn't going to pay for it. I was happy have the remote start, but not the way it has been working. Change batteries last night will trya again. thanks

I start mine from bed, 2nd floor back of the house, out to the truck is 2 floors, 5 walls, a camper and 175 feet... No issues.
