While passing thru Lynden yesterday, I stopped in at O'Reilly's and picked up 4 qts of Mercon LV (for an early Spring trans service). The stuff is a bit pricey ($8 USD/qt) but I will be using only OEM fluid in the trans!
So, if I drop the pan and change out the internal transmission filter...how many qts am I going to need?
Has anyone installed an exterior filter on one of these?

As I have said in the past: You guys in the US are so lucky...
I can get FREE shipping, if I'm willing to pay $43/qt...
Any wonder that I cross the border to O'Reilly's or Pep Boys?

Wow !! $43/qt... Right now, Amazon's price for the USA is $5.59 / qt with free shipping..
