Tailgate chains

Can anyone tell me how to use the factory tailgate chain latch I cant figure out how to latch them. And i havent had any luck with google ...

Dixon,
take note that the hook comes up from underneath and then flops over. If you just drop the hook down from the top it can bounce up and out on a rough road
