What's the need for 8 lugs? Tube type rims? If tubeless you can find tires. I'm running YOKOHAMA Radials on mine. That's a DANA axle. You can swap gears in it. Brake parts are available, wheel cylinders and rubber line are available at Autozone, O'Reilly's etc
Drums aren't available except used. The front is easier. Parts plus drums are available for the front.
It's a 62 model. Just trying to find a way to get to 8 lug or other common lug pattern.
For a single wheel truck Bill named it, but that's a lot of work to reduce the capacity of your truck.
For a dual wheel truck you have few options, if it were easy the six lug dually wheels would be worthless. The complete rear axle assembly can be swapped without much effort.
The front isn't so easy. If I recall correctly, the bumpside hubs require longer spindle.
The most promising option I have seen is a thread on this forum where the outer six lug flange was turned/parted from the hub and a later model bolt on dually adapter bolted to the drum face.
Not 100% sure yet. Working from the rear axle forward. I know that I have the spacers purchased and in my garage to switch it from 6 to 8 for now. Down the road once I get it back running. 1 thing at a time for the truck.
