I have searched this forum and the 'net without success. I got as far as finding parts diagrams with this part in it but none of them identify what it is. Anybody know what it's called? Better yet, got a part number?
Hey Leonard, I guessing you want to get rid of the holes, I ended up going to I believe Home Depot and Lowe’s and going in the specialty hard to find items in hardware. I found some plastic plugs design for furniture, and caps etc one of the holes I had I had to make a little bigger, the other one I got lucky in the plug fit perfectly. Just an idea...

Thanks John. I may have to go this route if I can't find this piece. (EDIT see below)

Some plugs are the way to go, could even buy some interior paint and have them match, you will forget they exist sooner or later. There is a way to use bondo, tape and superglue with baking soda, but the plugs will be easier and look just as good once painted..
You can epoxy the holes closed and go to an auto paint store. They will custom make you paint for the dash in spray cans. I have all three colors for my interior. Really not expensive either.
@Njstern87 , @F-250 Super Duty , @Sous , @z31freakify . Thanks for the ideas fellas. I will probably go with filling the holes with epoxy and then painting over the whole piece with interior paint.
@cleatus12r Yeah, I did that when I was young and dumb. Now I'm just old and dumb.
