Question for you all. My 2019 STX has ford pass and I can remote start it from that but my key does not have the start button. Does anyone know if I were to buy a key with the start button and program it to the truck will it start?
Are any of you using the 12volt solutions kit or another? I have a 2019 f350. Trying to figure out my best option?
I'm using the 12volt Solutions remote start, and I'm happy with it. Didn't need to go to the dealership at all, no new keys, or anything. It also does have a glow plug delay. After a week or two, I also bought the module to start my truck via the app. Works great, and I can start and stop my truck from anywhere!

Yea that is true. Any idea what the different options are with there kit. one says with horn honk and without. Guessing that is the honk you get when you hit the button so many times?

Correct. So, with the "regular" remote start kit, to start the vehicle, you press the "lock" button three times. The horn honks on the second and third presses of the button. However, with the No-Honk kit, you pretty "lock-unlock-lock" to start the vehicle, and there are no horn honks involved.
Hmmm.... My 17 has the factory installed remote start. To use it I only need to lock once and then press the start button on the fob twice to start. No lock twice for a horn honk...no lock-unlock-lock required.

6.2caribou, we're talking about something else entirely. We're discussing the 12v Solutions products.
But, yes, your horn will certainly honk if you press the lock button twice.
