Like the title says, do they matter? My head has 1825113c1. I found a head for sale for a good price to rebuild, but the number is 181303c . Do they matter? I have found several sites for heads and none of them specify a casting number or even ask for on . Were there different coolant or oil passages? Can I use it or should I pass on it.

IIRC 94.5-95 had that metal plate holding the lifters, also some had 8 bolt plenum versus 10 bolt intake plenums.
do you know if there is a difference in the 8 and 10 bolt plenum as far as turbo spider alignment? If the plenum opening is in the same spot I'll throw the 8 bolt on the passenger side until I can do a full rebuild
