I keep telling myself no more trucks but when they come up this cheap and clean, hard to say no. I talked to the owners one day about this truck and told them I might be interested. I kind of let it sit on the back burner for a while. My buddy sold me the disc brake set up and power steering for 75. total for the truck was $500.00. 1966 custom cab long bed with a 65 grill. No engine or trans. Has a 2 spots where the fender meets the door they added a little extra bondo.
The parts are here for sure! I need to quit filling my back yard up. And it also helps knowing Riff (my friend) for about 10 years and getting dibbs on all the good stuff

One day down the road when I can afford it I'd love to diesel swap my 66
I've seen a 1967 F-100 running around town that has a Mercedes 6 cyl turbo diesel in it. Sounds good!
No idea how much power it makes, but it runs down the road at 65 with no problems.
I think it has a transmission adapter, runs the Ford manual transmission.

That's pretty sweet. I've gone through threads of people cummins swapping theirs and that doesn't look too bad. But then again, there are pros and cons of that. Definitely not a cheap route to go.
