Updates?

So....should I take my 2012 to the dealer for the latest software "updates"?
This is something totally new to me.

What updates, the only notice I recieved was for navigation system and they aren't worth it.

I've been reading some of the older threads and at times, people are advised to go to their dealer and get the "latest software updates" for their engine/transmission/whatever.
If there are none...GREAT!

If there are any, I've not heard about them. Since I'm the original owner on my '12, and I still take mine to the local Ford dealer I bought it from, I'm just assuming if there were any updates required, they would have told me about them.

Is your truck giving you any problems?

The early 2011's had a computer reflash for a transmission shifting correction. But that was only for the first model year of the new power train.

my dealer does things like that to the truck and does not even bother telling me it was done.

There is nothing wrong at the moment (or EVER, hopefully) I just like to stay on top of things like this.
I think it was in a thread about transmissions that I first heard about the flash updates....

If the consensus is that there is nothing to be done, I will leave it at that.
Thanks, all!
