tried searching but everyone seems to just have issues when cold starting...
I kinda have the same issues but different. Issue only seems to happen when its cold. Truck starts up quick and easy and runs fine however if you just throw the truck into drive, the motor dies and truck will not fire back up for at least an hour. I found you have to let the truck warm up for at least 25 mins before shifting into drive. Otherwise it runs fine. Any ideas? I don't even know where to start. I just acquired the truck from a family member and don't know much of anything about fords. Thanks for any advice.

 

get an innova OBD1 code reader or use a paper clip to retrieve the codes from the computer. You don't have to have a CEL to have codes stored.
