Caster numbers??

What caster numbers is everyone running after they level their trucks? I'm trying to eliminate my loose steering.

After the level (King coilovers and a trackbar relocation bracket) I was at 1.x each side, with a slight right drift at highways speeds.

After shims. I’m at 2.x on each side, and the truck is neutral, essentially zero bumpsteer, and a perfect feel.

I'm at 2.9 on each side now and the steering is loose. I've seen where some people are going as high as 4.0. Is this too much??

Mine was 4.1 drivers side and 4.3 passenger side from factory.

After 2.5" Readylift it was 1.9 drivers side and 2.2 passenger side.

Installed 2 degree shims and now 3.8 and 3.9, much more like factory feel.

Before you installed the shims, was the steering loose and floaty?

I haven’t leveled yet... but I did replace my radius arms and OBSESS about caster. Very happy with handling.
