Rear end help
I need some help in determining what I can swap the rear end in a 1972 f100 with? It had a 9" with 31 splines thats gone out. I've had three others brought out but there all to wide to fit the shackles without pushing them out 3-4". I've seen references to mustangs, Thunderbirds, Lincoln's......bit don't know what years would work and if I'd have to change up anything else.

F100, 1957-1972 are all the same width.
or are you looking for an axle from something other than a pickup?
