You will need 6028 bracket for a V8, because the 223 is different. Front cross member (5020) is also different, you may need to modify it to bolt the bracket on.

What brackets are those they don’t look like mine for the straight 6

6A061 & 6068 rubber insulators are the same 223/292.

As he said, number 6028 in the diagram. It is a one piece support verses two piece for the 223.

You will need a v8 bell housing too.

Branden,

My 59 F100 originally came with a 223, however it was swapped out for a 413 Chrysler at some point before I picked it up. Essentially you will need a front engine mount like the one pictured below. You will also need a V8 bellhousing to suit your gear box currently installed. Do you have a 4 speed box on the floor? Order new engine mounts & mount bolts all round too!

Mac's has those center engine mounts for about 50 clams. I'm sure they can be had cheaper than that used, but they are ready and available at least.

The page ND provided is for 61-63 not 57-60 that’s why the brackets look different.
You need the one pictured in post #6

Post #2: 1961/63 pic has been replaced by two correct 1957/60 pics.

before I swap my motor I’m gonna see if my 223 will run I guess I didn’t mention that the 223 in my 59 has 34,000 original miles the door has the sticker for the last oil change which if I remember was June of 75 and the mileage on that was 32,000 miles and the last tag was 75 on the truck so I’m pretty confident my motor is low mileage I mean the odometer says exact 34,001

That would be a whole lot less trouble. Run a cylinder compression test. It is most likely 134,000 miles.

Do not believe the miles shown on the odometer, as it reads to 99999.9 then returns to ZERO!

Way too much oil and crud to be 34,000 miles maybe 234,000

An old way to guess if odometer rolled over was to look at pedal rubbers. If worn down, truck rolled over at least once.
