Hey folks. So we just got our first real dumping of the white stuff and temps dropped significantly. My 2019 f350 which I have had since September has been great so far. Until yesterday. While heading out to pick up the dependents at school I noticed that as soon as I hit more than about 20 mph I could hear wind noise coming from the roof. Sunroof was securely closed. Never had this happen to me with my previous 2017. Yesterday was the first time. I do have the clearance lights too. Anyone else experience something like this, particularly following a snow fall?
Did you have snow on the roof that maybe changed the wind pattern/noise? If you did, I’d think that that would actually have a noise dampening effect, but you never know. Make sure the roof is clear and see if the noise is still there

That was my first thought. Had a look and there was a little bit of ice build up on the glass itself. Cleared it off but still get the wind noise. Sounds like a seal that has been compromised. Can't tell if it's coming from the sunroof or clearance lights.
Another thought is maybe you had water/moisture in the seal that froze and created a small gap; doesn’t take much to create wind noise.
If you park in a garage where it might have melted by now, open the sunroof and wipe all around the seal to dry up any moisture
Good thought. Think I'll head over to a shopping area where the truck actually fits into their heated garage for a couple of hours. I'll wipe it clean and maybe torque down the clearance lights as well. They appear awfully "lose".
