so i have a 94 f350 with a 351 im finding i need more torque im going to stay with a 351 and factory computer but im going to build a new engine for it what are the best upgrades for torque what cam and pistons ill be using a set of cobra gt40 heads i already have sitting on my old 302 street strip setup im selling the truck and going to borrow the heads from it but i towed a car on a trailer tonight and was not very satisfied what do yall recommend
Stroker kit. You may need to upgrade the computer though afterwards. In an F350, a 351 is simply underwhelming. Much like a 302 in an F150. Not enough torque to do the job. I would suggest gearing, but usually an F350 equipped with a 351 is geared as low as it'll go to start with.
yeah it has 4.10 gears right now can't afford a stroker setup I figured basic rebuild as big of a cam as the computer will9 take and some gt40 heads will make a serious difference

Stroker kits aren't as expensive as you'd think, compared to the cost of a full rebuild of your short block. Most have everything included, except for balancing.
The machinework is the same for both, aside from clearancing the bore bottoms and balancing. You'll get far more power per dollar than you will doing a straight rebuild of the short block. Only other option is turbocharging.
