Lost SYNC Navigation Commands
Hi
I’ve noticed after installing the latest map update that SYNC will no longer take navigation commands, nor will it list them on the onscreen prompts. I also installed the latest SYNC update that came out recently and that didn’t help. I’m pretty sure this worked before any updates. I have a 2018 F350 with the ultimate package... has anyone else noticed this?

Can you post a photo of your APIM IVSU numbers.
You get to that from diagnostic screen
eject + seek (skip speaker test) > APIM Diagnostics > IVSU software versions
There may be more than 1 screen.
I can send you a link for the install package if your voice package is not installed.

Doing one of these might clear up your problem.

As far as I'm concerned SYNC voice commands suck for navigation. If I don't type the address in you can forget it. I live in the Los Angeles area and when I do voice it wants give me choices is some other state. My iPhone gets voice commands for navigation correct 99% of the time. I only order it on my 2020 for the traffic and long road trips.

Hopefully for some but not all 2020 Ford vehicle owners, perhaps SYNC 4 will have improved voice commands.
