I'm looking at this set, and it says it is plug and play, but they mention the fact that there is a low beam and high beam bulb. Has anyone installed these, and is there any splicing. Here is the link to the item.

The kit would have to include a wiring harness adapter or some minor splicing would be necessary, projectors have a fixed lens with a tightly defined coverage area so yes 2 seoparate lens are required for high and low beams.
I'm also not a fan of the appearance of projector headlamps but there is no arguing with their general performance, they do a much better job than the traditional reflector lens. However, I made the mistake of buying unrated chinese headlights and they suck.. the light pattern is all wrong, so I would strongly recommend that you only buy DOT rated units or something that has been tested or reviewed with favorable results.
