Im going to run this **** out of it tomorrow. If it has a problem, hopefully it will show climbing the Blue Ridge Parkway for 3 hours.
I sent you a PM. I have a like new OEM Donaldson air filter and the whole assembly with updated Motorcraft intake tube with clamps etc. plus some other parts if you are interested. I was in my shop looking for a box yesterday and ran across it and thought of this thread. These Donaldson filters are good for a very long time and hold a lot of debris. I had this one on a couple of months after replacing it and had to step up to more air flow with an S&B Stage 2 to satisfy my larger turbo.
So, I set up a pressure test... the Saga continues, It will hit 20psi before dropping down to 16 where it stays due to degas cap relief.
My question is, should I be worried about anything else with this thing if I got with new heads and oil cooler. Imma replace push rods as well. Any other wearable items I should look at? Im assuming if I havent had any issues with lifters and whatnot that the lower end of the engine is in good shape? Anywho, Im ordering heads today from KDD.
