6.0L Question/Problem
So, back in October I posted about having a oil leak. Few weeks after I got laid off and the truck has been parked. I have started a new job where I am much more happy. Been doing some thinking and Im gonna turn my Superduty back into my daily driver. So, the winter plans I had for it kinda changed with loosing my job, but Im still going to do EGR Delete, coolant filter kit, and new oil cooler. I still have yet to find the oil leak that I have been having. So, I snapped some pictures and Im hoping you guys can set me in the right direction. take a look.
Oil seems to be coming from above the trans somewhere, but I can not seem to find it from the top of the motor.
Thanks in advance.

Start with the valley of the motor--front to back. Check your blue turbo hose, turbo oil supply line and turbo drain as they are the "highest". Since it seems to be running down both sides of the motor I'm thinking somewhere in the valley. The truck is an 04 so it could have 03 or 04 motor. If it's an 03 motor it could be ICP sensor also. Pulling the CAC pipe from the front of the turbo could help a LOT in visually seeing an oil leak in the valley.

Judging by the majority of the oil being on the left side I would agree that if your engine has the ICP sensor mounted on the HPOP cover it is likely leaking. From the pictures you posted I can't see much wetness in front of the turbo... Usually I see CAC tube connector hoses seeping oil and oil filter caps leaking (because apparently it's too difficult for some people to change the o-ring). If the HPOP cover has ever been removed there is always the possibility that the rear engine cover spaghetti gasket has been stretched due to improper cover removal tecniques...
But the more I look at the pic's I would also want to see the glow plug harness at each cylinder. The leak around the #8 exhaust port makes me suspect a small leak there as well.
What year is the truck ???

Ok. So, got the turbo pulled today. Starting to lean towards the oil drain tube leaking cause it kinda fell out of the HPOP as soon as I lifted turbo. I def. want to check this sensor too tho, I dont want to put this all back together and still have the problems. Hard to tell where the leak is coming from with the use of penetrating oil.
