PO swapped in a 351w, but never set the transmission up all the way. I got the proper pin and clip for the gear selector (Now it doesn't stick), but then I noticed the kickdown rod is missing. The truck has a Carter AFB and the linkage is there on the side for the rod.

Applications for this ebay rod are incorrect and the seller failed to list its length.
D?AP-7006-AA is the casting number for the transmission case (Ford basic part number for the case is 7005). Casting numbers are foundry marks, cannot be cross referenced to Ford part numbers.
The C6 trans ID tag was bolted to the servo cover on the left side of the case, but by now, most of these tags are missing.
Both the 351W and the C6 are probably from a car, LTD or Mercury Marquis for examples. 351W introduced in 1969 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars, wasn't available in F150/350 & Bronco until 1981.
Yes, I looked for the tag, but it is long gone. I do think the 351w might be from an 80's or 90's vehicle as it has a serpentine belt system (not sure when that started), but I don't think it was an upgrade to an older engine.
So where does this leave me in my search for a compatible kickdown rod?

The 351W may be from the 1980's/90's, but the trans isn't.
The casting number prefix on the trans case is from the 1970's. D = decade = 1970's, 2nd digit is the year, 3rd digit is the vehicle it's for, 4th digit P is A/T related.
The 2nd digit of the prefix is hard to make out, but if it's D1AP-7006-AA = 1971. 3rd digit A = Galaxie/LTD/Mercury Marquis.
There is no Ford kickdown rod that will work, plus since the trans is probably from a car, the manual control selector lever that the rod attaches to...is different than a truck.
You'll have to use a "universal fitz-all" Lokar cable.
