78 F150. Previous owner put a new harness in but the blower motor has never worked/been hooked up. I figured out that the orange wire in bottom right of picture if I supply it with 12V power the blower motor does turn on so I know I’ve got a good motor. The 3 wire plug in top left of pic goes into the heater box but not sure what it’s for? Two of the three wires are hot with key on. I’m assuming 12V from fuse block to switch on dash then to blower motor? Did these old trucks had a resistor anywhere?
that is for your resister that helps the fan operate at the different speeds, the resistor is the spade that are sticking up in the picture. if you don't have a wiring diagram go to fordifacation.com and look it up there they have posted them so you can look at them.
