7.3 First Drive

Has anyone read or heard of any information about the 7.3 in the real world? There has to be something out there.

I am trying to keep tabs on what's going on and am hoping I missed something.

He finally opens the hood at 21:06. No driving.

I don't see anyone driving yet, most stuff is from August.

The only thing I've read about 7.3L so far is a snippit from Truck Trend who is currently testing a 2020 7.3L and 2020 6.7L Super Duty, apparently the 7.3L is a great burnout machine according to the one sentence they posted about it. I think they will release their test to the public in a couple of weeks.

That’s the wrong truck for the Ike gauntlet test. (7.3) That one has 3.55 ratio instead of the towing ratio 4.30. I hope they use a different truck for the Ike.

Andre said he was hoping for a better towing gear, but that’s what Ford sent them. I don’t understand why Ford wouldn’t send a 4.30 truck when they know it’s going to go up against the competition on the Ike gauntlet.
