If I recall correctly 10 is a separator code and is also used as an indicator to mash the gas pedal for the computer to initiate the next set of tests. I’ve been pulling a few too many codes recently on my 88’ with the 4.9
Cylinder balance test is only available on engines with sequential injection, which these trucks didn't have in 87. The balance test (if available) is started manually with a stab of the throttle after the KOER test is complete.
