Project Tracking & Work Flow (Nerds)
It's been really helpful for me to organize the spreadsheet in a way that shows what needs to be completed before working on other parts of the conversion. That way I can see the most efficient way to do things. For example, when I'm ripping out the floor, it would be a good time to cut holes for the diesel heater.
Anyway, I hope it helps. I made it with google sheets, and it should be compatible if you prefer to download it and use it with excel. If the link below doesn't work, DM me and I'll be happy to send you a copy.
Project Tracking & Work Flow Spread Sheet

Sad thing for me is I'm not organized enough to use something so straight forward and well thought out. I'm currently in the midst of a build out and get distracted or side tracked almost hourly---its frustrating aggravating and at times has probably led to delaying finishing but that's been my process on the last three I've done.
Budget isn't a concern but I do keep nearly every receipt associated with the build if only to have vendors, part numbers and such available if that info would help someone else. Ford parts are billed to my company as maintenance so I'm able to have the gov't partially subsidize my build---this IS a work truck after all!
