Everyone has done a great job adding lights to their trucks.
I am going to wait to add lights until I get the Ranch Hand Legend front end intalled. I want to add a significant amount of spot out front and then a flood angled slightly left and one angled slightly right to illuminate the roadsides.
So the upfitter switches will be used for:
1. Front lights.
2. Left work light.
3. Right work light.
4. Rear lights.
5. Main power for winch.
6. Ejector seat for when wifey rides shotgun.
Lower bumper opening, 6” bars in main grille, or a fog kit with 2 or 4 lights is a great option.
Does your truck have Adaptive Cruise Control? If so, we can work around it or we can relocated it. If not, we have more options as well. Let me know if you’d like to discuss some ideas further.
No adaptive cruise. I'm in CA and need to leave the front lisc plate in place. I did replace my headlights with LED's and they looked and worked great. Had to remove and return them because they create issues with my FM radio reception.
If you're wanting to keep the OEM bumper, there are a few options.
1. Upgraded Fog Light Mounts than can hold 2 cubes. We can do Rigid D-Series, D-XL Series, or Baja Designs Squadrons
2. 10" Light Bar if equipped with ACC
2a. Relocate ACC behind the grille and run a 20", 30", or 40" light bar in the lower grille opening
3. If not equipped with ACC, all the same options above will work.
4. Depending on the trim of your truck, Rigid offers a 6" light bar kit that will fit in you upper grille.
5. Lights mounted on your hood mounts at the base of your A-pillars where they meet the hood. I've got a pair of Baja Designs XL80 on our shop truck.
Happy to go over other options with you as well. Please let me know if we can help!
hey nick when you guys gonna have a f250 section on the site?
That is really strange that the LED bulbs caused problems with radio reception.
i hope you get your lights set up how you like.
Once, out in the middle of nowhere (ie, a weak(er) FM signal), my Rigid's added static to the station I was listening too. The only way I even noticed was when I switched the lights off, the radio cleared up.
I love the truck so far but I find the headlights to be quite insufficient. I've searched the forum briefly and seen some complaints about the headlamps. I'm trying to decide between options. I'd like to hear from those of you who've added aftermarket lights. Anyone have a light bar on their Super Duty?
Thanks in advance.
Baja curved light bar. Extremely bright. Really need to be careful if you want to use it in populated areas.

Ford does make another front plate bracket that hangs lower, below the bumper opening, so you could run both a light bar in the bumper and your front plate.
I believe the PN is HC3Z-17A385-BC
I can't find the thread about it at the moment...
sort of unrelated, what lights do you have illuminating the running boards?
Just a self adhering LED light strip. Tucked it way up on the rocker so you only see the glow and reflection on the running board. Bought it from LEDGLOW online. I like them because they aren't crazy bright and are the right shade of amber. They have a white courtesy light on them also. Requires an extra connection but I choose not to use that feature.

Putting the final touches on it. Hoping it will launch after SEMA. We will have Year, Make, Model search to narrow down parts and a TON of new parts (more than 18,000) being added to the site. In the meantime, if there's anything you're looking for (or anyone for that matter!), please reach out to us!
