With all the power issues in California I’m looking at light bars for my truck
Going to SEMA next week and will be checking out the options
I have a 2018 Lariat F250 and would like a front light bar and rears
looking for the integrated look up front
recommendations?
I had a light bar but I replaced it with KC Hilites 8" HID lights. The center spots shine out over 5000 ft and the two side flood lights shine out over 3000 ft. These are definitely not for use with oncoming traffic. They have a much more even light distribution than an LED lightbar. The light bar had a very bright center and lacked on the sides. These lights definitely light up the road and the sides in rural WY. You can also just use the 6" models and get about the same output.
I have Headlight Revolution LED headlights and am very happy with them. I had the V3 and one blew out. They sent me a complete V4 kit no questions asked, just had to send them a photo proving I destroyed the V3 kit after the V4 was received and installed. Seems like others weren't as fortunate but I'm happy with their product and customer service. The LED swap is more than adequate as far as I'm concerned. The pattern is close to stock, just a hell of a lot brighter. Once I aimed them, I don't get flashed and don't blind on-coming traffic.
I'm also adding an N-Fab light bar and 4 Rigid D2 Hyperspot cubes. I had them on my last truck and are awesome for long-range lighting (not for use with traffic).
For what it's worth, I wouldn't mess with combo light bars. They mix driving and flood pattern which is a terrible idea if driving at speed. It makes your eyes focus near the front of the truck because there's a lot of scattered light there when you want the light projecting out and your focus to be further out.
Turbo dog - now those are LIGHTS! I remember the day when an F-250 had a lift kit, 35” gumbo mudders, and a roll bar with KC Daylighters.
Where did you find this lights? I want to put those on a Ranchhand Legend front end.
Yesterday, Wifey and I went on an outing. She asked why don’t I have the Ranchhand front end yet? She also asked why no big lights yet?
When we arrived home It was dark so of course the running lights were on as we walked up the sidewalk and she said the LED lights are so pretty they are like jewelry on your pretty truck! What man needs a better compliment from a woman about his truck?

I have a pair of those KC HID's. Got them for a song on Amazon clearance a couple years ago. They are just sitting on a shelf in my garage...
If I did more offroad, I'd use them, but HID's aren't the best choice for switching them on and off a lot.

Lower bumper opening, 6” bars in main grille, or a fog kit with 2 or 4 lights is a great option.
Does your truck have Adaptive Cruise Control? If so, we can work around it or we can relocated it. If not, we have more options as well. Let me know if you’d like to discuss some ideas further.

That's true, HID lights have to warm up. I don't have much traffic living in a rural area of the least populated state, so I usually don't need to turn them off more than once or twice. But once they've been on for awhile the next time they come up much faster. But even when they are taking 10 seconds to warm up they are still putting out a lot of light.
The prob down there for us guys in the NE is they get covered with ice/snow and become useless! Thats why I went with the prerunner bar and moved it up off the road...we'll see if its any better.
I have ZROADZ in-grill LEDs but I wouldn't buy them again. They didn't fit well for some reason, which is odd since others don't seem to have that issue. I even spoke to the engineer who designed them. Maybe it was tolerance stack-up between my grill and everything else but mounting was a bit of pain
