motor mount bracket hole spacing

Is the hole spacing the same for a 4.9 as for a 3.0 V6? I'm referring to the three holes on the passenger side of the block that the motor mount bracket bolts to. I want to use the readily available Bronco, Econoline, etc. bracket in place of the discontinued V6 bracket. The V6 bracket is inverted so it cups water, road salt, coolant, etc., then rots and breaks! (Aerostar) It might be inverted for clearance reasons, but I'm still curious if the hole spacing is the same or close.
