What are these for? I punched them out of the frame. They are shot anyway.

Last 6in. Of the frame SWB. Near the bumper mounting holes and right before the rear leaf hanger bracket.

In that location it was probably an aftermarket trailer hitch.

On my 79 there was a metal strap that connected to the rear step bumper connected to that bolt
