HPOP question.

I've been on this forum for a number of years and have had my truck for many more. I have never changed the oil in my hpop and would like to know the correct oil change interval and procedure.

I think this has been covered on here many times, and my interpretation is that changing your oil regularly changes the oil in the HPOP sufficiently.

This may seem like a dumb question from a 10+ year owner but the hpop is not a separate sealed system from the crankcase?

The oil in the HPOP is in a loop with the rest of the engine oil. The hydraulic side of it is not separate from the engine lubrication oil.

I typically use a small hand pump, (Insert Austin powers joke here), on every other oil change. I have only done this about 4yrs now but I have noticed easier starts.
Just use a small tube thru the top port of the HPOP. Only adds about 10 minutes to the process.

LPOP fills the HPOP. Then the oil goes out the injectors and into the pan. You change the HPOP oil when you change the engine oil, it is all the same
system.
