Whoaa there, this cannot be, you MUST be driving with the Emergency brake on, fully loaded towing 25,000 lbs otherwise you would be getting 28 MPG...looks a lot like my mpg over the past 5 Superdutys I have owned, each with 35-45k miles on them...could it BE that you and I own the only 2 Superdutys that get mpg as above, could they be Lemons, should we contact a lawyer and get our money back???
Been on forums for a long time and 3 categories of cars: Corvettes, Jeeps and Superduty's and in all of them every few months someone will post a thread on MPG, the longer the thread lasts the higher the numbers for mpg you get...just waiting on a post here that will break into the 30+ mpg...28 28 28 I've got 28 do I hear 30, come on folks its only 2 points, give me 30, 30 30 30, do I hear 30?
My numbers reflect a true snapshot of my MPG. Lower numbers are towing heavy dump trailers to the dump, 7K-8K per load. High MPG reflect highway trips, overall average numbers are me getting groceries or Ben & Jerry's ice cream you know driving like a regular person not putting it to the floorboards or driving like I'm in Florida with my blinker on.

HAHA. Great post. So true. I guess there are Unicorns after all. LOL
I use the Fuelio app to track my fuel usage...a much more accurate method than is the truck's mpg LoM. FWIW, my truck's LoM initially showed mpg that was .5-.8 mpg higher than actual. After tweaking the eng. values a bit, the truck's mpg LoM now is consistently .2 mpg low. The, higher than average, first 5k miles were from a trip out west just after I purchased this truck. Total miles are 24k. Current OAL mpg is at 11.96...much cheaper to operate than my old 6.7 Cummins was at it's 12.5 avg.
