Thanks Jack, FYI I purchased a tube of Ford TA-31 because I resealed the lower oil pan also. I ended up using a dab of grey on the nick a couple days ago when I reinstalled the valve cover. I'm still a couple of days from my first fire up so it will definitely have to cure.
